Spammer using my mail server?
I'm lately getting a significant number of bounced messages from recipients' host servers.
I requested for support thru CT, and the gist of my support request and response is as follows:
> Is there anything I need to do to prevent this from happening, or is there
> anything that you could do to ensure that spammers don't get away with this
> crap?
"Unfortunately there isn't anything we have to prevent this from happening."
I was wondering whether this is truly the case, because I'm not willing to accept this response.
So, my question is, shouldn't SMTP server authentication mean that theoretically nobody can send out from my domain, unless they know my authentication details?
And if that's the case, is it enough to prevent this, for me change my password?
Otherwise, there's gotta be something else that I can do.
Please, enlighten me.
